Appeals and Complaints Procedure

Every effort is made to make each examination an enjoyable event. Speech New Zealand examiners are professionals and are highly trained to conduct quality assessments and to provide informative reports

However, if you wish to make an appeal or complaint, please note the following:

The appeal must be made in writing and emailed or posted to the National Office by the person who submitted the original entry form or the caregiver who paid for the entry or the candidate. Appeals must be made within 14 days of receiving the examination result.

An appeal may be made on the basis of the examiner not following the syllabus.

Appeals that question the professional judgement of the examiners will not be considered.
