There are four scenes:

This extract is adapted from Animal Farm, where Mr Jones, who had been a

cruel but capable  farmer spends too much time in the Pub and his animals

are totally neglected. 

Eventually the animals all rebel and the pigs take over the leadership of the

farm. They create rules beginning with ‘Two legged beings are our enemies’

and ending with ‘All animals are equal.’    Then one day Snowball, one of

 the pigs, begins a meeting with the hens……….

MAYHEM AT MADAM TUSSAUDS

Scenario:

In Madame Tussaud’s Waxwork Museum.

The Sports Hall of Fame and the Famous People Hall of Fame.

·        Irene and Buck come to life – but only understand their own reality and time period

·        Houdini and Anne come to life – but only understand their own reality and time period

·        Anne’s diary is dropped and the two ‘halls’ merge

·        They begin to discover aspects of each others’ lives

·        They discover they are made of wax

·        The janitor is seen and all returns to normal – but with a hint of ‘more to come’.

 

[This piece arose from a study of historical characters and sporting personalities, both through school and as part of drama classes.]
